At AMC, we don’t say, "Give ’til it hurts," we say, "Give because it feels good."
We’re always excited to serve, especially true beyond our theatre walls, to make a difference in the lives of others. We are proud to be an active and contributing member to many charitable organizations not only in our hometown of Kansas City but also in the many communities we serve.
We are also proud to partner with the Autism Society to bring our monthly program “AMC Sensory Friendly Films” to individuals affected by autism. This program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. In fact, our dedicated auditoriums have their lights slightly up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing! We receive numerous requests for free movie passes and other donations for charitable purposes and requests for event sponsorships. For donation of movie passes, organizations should contact their local AMC theatre for information and consideration.
