Harold And Kumar Return For 'A Very Harold And Kumar Christmas'

 In  Comedy, Sequels

I was not a fan at all of the first "Harold and Kumar" film.  I personally found it dry, without direction and most of the jokes to me seemed desperate.

Imagine my surprise when a couple of years later I was at the SXSW film festival and decided to take in the second "Harold and Kumar" film and ended up just LOVING it.  I can't fully explain to you why the first one failed for me where the second one tremendously succeeded, but it did.

Since then, a lot of fans have wondered about, and been begging for another journey with the modern day Cheech and Chong.  Well, according to Harold (John Cho, who also plays Sulu in the new "Star Trek" franchise) it's happening!

According to reports, the title of the new film will be "A Very Harold And Kumar Christmas", they're still working out scheduling and the most important part: Neil Patrick Harris will be back to play himself once again.

QUESTION:  So what do you think about Harold and Kumar?

John, I'm the exact opposite of you. I loved the first H&K and thought the second was trying too hard. Anyway I am interested in this new one, especially if NPH comes back.

Harold and Kumar movies to me are the kind of movies that you can watch with a group of buddies and just laugh. They were not the funniest movies I have ever seen, but they are still worth the price of a ticket.
