Leonardo da Vinci Recast as an Action Hero?

When it comes to famous renaissance men, Leonardo da Vinci easily wins: painter, sculptor, inventor, writer, engineer -- the list goes on. But action hero?

While the 15th century Italian might not be the most likely action star, his intellect (and skills with creating new stuff) might just make him the next Jason Bourne -- at least if Warner Bros. has its way. The studio picked up a treatment to a script called "Leonardo da Vinci and the Soldiers of Forever" that basically casts the supergenius in what sounds like a video game brought to the big screen.

CHUD describes it as:

In Soldiers of Forever he'll be doing all his fighting himself. It will reveal that he is actually a member of a secret society that finds him fighting against Biblical demons in "a story involving secret codes, lost civilizations, hidden fortresses and fallen angels."

So it's "The Da Vinci Code" starring Da Vinci? Cool.
