New Muppet Movie Explodes With Awesome

Comedy, Family, Writers
I have no problem admitting that I am a HUGE Muppet fan. Whether we're talking about the Disney-owned Muppets (like Kermit, Fozzie and Gonzo) or the Sesame Workshop Muppets or the Fraggles -- I'm just a fan. Recently, the Muppets have made a comeback of sorts, on YouTube of all platforms and another new movie is in the works.
"Flight of the Conchords'" James Bobin will be directing "The Greatest Muppet Movie of All Time" and The Playlist says that they've got the plot synopsis. Check it out:
The Greatest Muppet Movie of All Time is about Gary, Mary, and Walter (a man, his girlfriend, and the man's life-long nondescript, brown puppet best friend) getting the old Muppet gang — now retired entertainers known for the same Muppet show we know them from — together to save the TV studio that the original show was shot in. A villain, Tex Richman (nice name, on par with Doc Hopper), bent on drilling for oil underneath the studio, is due to take over the studio in weeks and the only way to stop him? Putting on a show that draws ten million viewers.
Even cooler? The script is being written by Nicholas Stoller and Jason Segel. You might recall that Stoller directed Segal in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" -- a film that had an epic "Dracula" musical starring puppets (made by the Jim Henson Company, no less).
"Flight of the Conchords" and Jason Segel? Count me in!
