When will the AMC Best Picture Showcase be announced?

Any guess as to the format? 5 films on two Saturdays over two weekends, or 10 films back to back Saturday to Sunday?

Anxious to hear about the AMC Best Picture Showcase as well. Had a great time with it last year, and I'm looking forward to attending again. Hoping it will be over two Saturdays!

There HAS to be a Showcase this year! This event could make AMC theatre history!! I agree preferably, on the showcase being 1 weekend, (back to back Sat and Sun) or secondarily, 2 Saturdays in a row.
I know for a FACT me and my friends would buy tickets to this event. We've gone before and we'll go again!

Last year was my first year and my friend and I had an amazing time! I actually ran a contest on my site (http://truthoncinema.com) to see what friend would go with me and that I would pay for.

I can't wait until the announcement!

I hope they announce it soon. I will not make a work schedule until I hear something. I would hope that they would do it on a Saturday and Sunday instead of two separate weekends. Just start on a Saturday and keep it rolling. My best friend and I can't wait to do it again. Hopefully MovieWatcher members get the first notification.

I can't wait for the Showcase. We have gone every year since it started and love it. Hope it's split between two weekends. I think that would be best....but that's just me. :)

From what I hear, they're definitely having a showcase and it will be one weekend only. I haven't heard any more details than that.

Add me to the list of those who REALLY love the showcase and want to see it continue. I would like to see it spread out over 2 weekends though -- 2 consecutive all-day movie marathons might be a tad over the top.

This blog has lots of good info about the Showcase, absent an official announcement at this time.
