Quentin Tarantino Joins The Cast Of 'Smurfs'

My head is spinning a little bit at this one. There are reports floating around that Oscar nominated director Quentin Tarantino has just singed on to play a part in the upcoming live action Smurfs movie. And get this... he's supposed to be played "Brainy Smurf". You know... the annoying one.

Tarantino joins a cast that already includes Neil Patrick Harries, Jonathan Winters and Katy Perry.

The Smurfs are presently set to hit the big screen sometime in the summer of 2011.

Let me repeat... Quentin Tarantino as Brainy Smurf. Wow.

Does this mean that in true Brainy fashion at some point Tarantino will get his butt kicked at the end of the film? My head is spinning as well!
