VIDEO: 2010 Comic Con 'Masters Of The Web' Panel

 In  Industry

Every year one of my favorite events at Comic Con is the annual "Masters of the Web" panel.  The panel consists of some of the world's most influential and popular online film bloggers and writers who get together to discuss issues surrounding film, the influence the online world is having on Hollywood and other topics.

I had the privilege of organizing and hosting the panel this year which comprised of:

MODERATORS

ROBERTO ORCI - Writer/producer who had worked on projects like "Transformers", "Star Trek" (the new one), "The Island", "Eagle Eye", "The Proposal" and television shows like "Alias" and "Fringe".

EDGAR WRIGHT - One of the most gifted directors in the business at the moment.  His films "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz" made him extremely popular with film fans, and now his newest film "Scott Pilgrim vs the World" will hit the screens soon (and trust me, it's one of the best films of the year).

PANELISTS

JEN YAMATO - Movies.com
EDWARD DOUGLAS - Comingsoon.net
MIKE SAMPSON - JoBlo.com
ERIK DAVIS - Cinimatical.com
GEORGE "EL GUAPO" ROUSH - LatinoReviews.com
PAUL ENS - Former head of FilmForce.Net, director of Lucas Online and now President of Red 5 Comics
VIC HOTREMAN - ScreenRant.Com
DEVIN FARACI - CHUD.com

You can watch the video of the panel below (PLEASE NOTE: The video is large.  If it pauses frequently while you play it, just hit pause and let it load for a few minutes before playing again and it should run fine).
