Old school horror monsters are making a much welcomed comeback in Hollywood and Sony looks to be joining the monster mash with a new film based on the Dracula mythology.

Sony acquired the pitch from writer Jason Keller about the origins of the world's most famous vampire. Keller also wrote the Stallone/Schwarzenegger film “The Tomb” and last year's “Machine Gun Preacher.”
