A couple of photos from the currently shooting “Star Trek 2” have appeared online thanks to MTV. J.J. Abrams and the original cast are back and joining them will be Benedict Cumberbatch as the bad guy.

The first photo below shows Spock applying the Vulcan Nerve Pinch (everyone else is reporting it as the Vulcan Death Grip, which is a move made up by Spock and doesn't actually exist) to Cumberbatch's character, who can apparently overpower the move and continue fighting Spock.

The second photo shows Uhura with her phaser set to 'short uniform' as she confronts Cumberbatch.

I'm sure we're going to be seeing a lot more photos being released in the months ahead.
