Universal Pictures just got ahold of the new manuscript titled "Demonologist," written by Andrew Pyper. The studio is looking to make a big screen adaptation of the movie with ImageMovers partners Jack Rapke, Steve Starkey and Robert Zemeckis producing.

"Demonologist" centers on a professor who studies "Paradise Lost" and accepts a free trip to Italy where a demonic spirit appears to kill his daughter. He must go on a dark journey of discovery in hopes of getting her back. No word on who they're looking to write the adaptation at the moment.
