If you were wondering whether or not "Halloween 3D" would actually be coming out at any point this year, Dimension Films just answered your question. The production company just pulled the latest horror sequel off of this year's slate, throwing the release into limbo as they still struggle to lift the project off the ground.

Dimension Films has been trying to get the wheels churning on the project and at one point hired Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer of "Drive Angry 3D" fame to pen the script. Since then that's fallen through and there isn't even a solid script ready for production. Now the question is whether or not this project will ever get enough momentum behind it to begin filming, which hopefully will be answered for us sometime soon.
