Tobey Maguire is going to produce a science fiction film called “The 5^th Wave,” based on the best selling Rick Nancy novels.

The movie is about a teenage girl searching for her brother who may or may not have been abducted after an alien invasion.

Maguire's Material Picture will produce with Sony Pictures distributing.
