Warner Brothers is the latest studio to try and take a crack at adapting Stephen King's “The Dark Tower” series for the big screen. Nothing has changed as far as director and star go. Ron Howard is still attached to direct and Javier Bardem would still play the gunslinger Roland.

Right now they're working on the first film's script by Akiva Goldsman and are looking to shoot in early 2013.
