“Child's Play,” the story of a serial killer who transferred his soul into a doll called Chucky, still has some life at the studio.

At a recent convention, Brad Dourif, who has voiced Chucky in each of the films, said that not only is a darker, scarier remake in the works for Child's Play, but a sequel to the existing franchise is also happening.

The sequel is called “Revenge of Chucky” and focuses on his immediate family (He has a wife and son now, in case you haven't been following the series.)

Dourif said he's involved with both projects but has yet to see a script for either.
