Well, this is interesting news for those of you who grew up reading Archie Comics (and still read them to this day). Looks like Sony Pictures is going to give the popular “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” character a superhero of a makeover.

The live-action movie will be an origin story about the young girl coming to terms with her powers. Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari will write the script. Don Murphy and Susan Montford will produce. Now word on casting or a director just yet.
