The rumors are flying around the web that “Battleship” star Rhianna is going to be playing a bad guy in the upcoming Fast & Furious sequel.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the singer/actor has been offered a villainous role in the sixth installment of the franchise that is set to begin shooting this month. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster and the rest of the “Fast Five” cast will be returning.

In other Fast & Furious casting news, who won't be back for the sixth installment? Eva Mendes. Mendes, who starring in “2 Fast 2 Furious,” was shown at the end credits of "Fast Five" with Dwayne Johnson and showed him that Michelle Rodriguez's character of Letty was still alive. I asked her at the press junket for “Girl in Progress” if she was involved with Fast Six and she said she wasn't. Looks like the character of Hobbs will have to make due with recent casting addition Gina Carano as his sidekick.
