DIRTY DANCING Remake Delayed Till At Least 2014

Nobody may be able to put baby in a corner, but that doesn't mean they can't delay her a lot.

For a few years now the good folks over at Lionsgate have been planing a remake of the 1987 classic film "Dirty Dancing". Since that time little progress has been made. Director Kenny Ortega (High School Musical) was brought on board to helm the project and a release date of July 2013 was set, which meant the film needed to go into production relatively soon. But those plans seem to have been changed.

It's being reported that Lionsgate (who had still not announced a cast for the film) is officially pushing the project back to AT LEAST 2014 (and it could go more than that).

So what do you think? Are you disappointed that "Dirty Dancing" won't be coming in 2013? Are you glad they remake is postponed? What are your thoughts? Let us know in the comments below.

Man of Steel, Plot of Plastic. Lois knows, as all heroes must be fanned in narcissistic Twitty/Facilebook culture (ala "Amazing Spider Man"). Everyone knows Lois knows, so people will watch everyone around her like a hawk, and S's CK reporter ID will be blown in 5 sec.  (  ;) for the cam CK.) (Very original) plot has S stopping (Nero's red matter drill) World Engine, by (flying up light shaft into wormhole) flying up light shaft into World Engine while (red matter ship)/(SHIELD nuke) crib ship bomb crashed into baddies amid destroyed (Manhattan) Metropolis, tossing (Romulans) Kryptos back into (wormhole) black hole. Then S proceeds to break Bat's 1 rule. Shiny/pretty Supersuit, & Kryptotech cool, but best looking thing by end of movie was "Superman Returns". Some fans will shout: "Let Nolan/Snyder/Goyer try again!", and I will whisper "No." TO:  Nolan/Snyder/Goyer RE:  Superman WASN'T BROKEN.   STOP FIXING.
