Comedic actor Ed Helms (“The Hangover,” televisions “The Office) is in talks to play the adult Rusty Griswold in New Line’s reboot of the popular comedy franchise, “Vacation”.

Chevy Chase’s Clark Griswold was the star of the original National Lampoon’s “Vacation” series of films. New Line looks to have his son, Rusty, pick up the vacation disaster torch.

“Horrible Bosses” scribes John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein will direct from a script they pen themselves.
