Michael Douglas may take the lead in the upcoming drama from Participant Media and Scott Free Productions: “Reykjavik”.
Douglas would play former President Ronald Reagan in a story that follows the leader’s “sojourn to Iceland in October, 1986 to meet with Mikhail Gorbachev for Cold War peace talks.”
Mike Newell (“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”) is in negotiations to direct from a script by Kevin Hood.
The film is scheduled to go into production in Germany in March of 2013.
