The first trailer for Academy Award-winning director Kathryn Bigelow's highly anticpated drama "Zero Dark Thirty" has become available and can be seen below.

The film follows the black ops mission to capture or kill Osama bin Laden, which culminated in his death during a high-stakes raid on his compound in Pakistan.

Kathryn Bigelow directs a cast that includes Joel Edgerton, Jessica Chastain, Edgar Ramirez, Mark Strong, Kyle Chandler, Nash Edgerton, Jennifer Ehle, Harold Perrineau and Frank Grillo.

"Zero Dark Thirty" opens in AMC Theatres on December 19th, 2012.
