Director Todd Lincoln’s chiller “The Apparition” opens in AMC Theatres this weekend – purchase your tickets HERE.

We had the opportunity to sit down with the film’s star, Ashley Green, recently to talk about the journey her character takes from skepticism to belief, accessing fear while working on a horror film and the idea that we can conjure a nightmare just with the focused power of our minds.

Take a look at the video interview below.

Synopsis:

When frightening events start to occur in their home, young couple Kelly (Ashley Greene) and Ben (Sebastian Stan) discover they are being haunted by a presence that was accidentally conjured during a university parapsychology experiment.  The horrifying apparition feeds on their fear and torments them no matter where they try to run.  Their last hope is an expert in the supernatural, Patrick (Tom Felton), but even with his help they may already be too late to save themselves from this terrifying force.

Todd Lincoln makes his feature film directorial debut on “The Apparition,” from his screenplay.  The film stars Ashley Greene (the “Twilight” series), Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) and Tom Felton (the “Harry Potter” films, “Rise of the Planet of the Apes”). “The Apparition” was produced under the Dark Castle banner by Joel Silver, Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman.  The executive producers are Steve Richards, Sue Baden-Powell and Daniel Alter.

Lincoln was joined behind the scenes by director of photography Daniel C. Pearl (“The Texas Chainsaw Massacre,” “Friday the 13th”), production designer Steve Saklad (“Up in the Air,” “Drag Me to Hell”), editors Jeff Betancourt and Harold Parker, and costume designer Kimberly Adams with music by tomandandy (“The Strangers,” “Resident Evil: Afterlife”).

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Dark Castle Entertainment, “The Apparition,” to be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company. This film has been rated PG-13 for terror/frightening images and some sensuality.

Man of Steel, Plot of Plastic. Lois knows, as all heroes must be fanned in narcissistic Twitty/Facilebook culture (ala "Amazing Spider Man"). Everyone knows Lois knows, so people will watch everyone around her like a hawk, and S's CK reporter ID will be blown in 5 sec.  (  ;) for the cam CK.) (Very original) plot has S stopping (Nero's red matter drill) World Engine, by (flying up light shaft into wormhole) flying up light shaft into World Engine while (red matter ship)/(SHIELD nuke) crib ship bomb crashed into baddies amid destroyed (Manhattan) Metropolis, tossing (Romulans) Kryptos back into (wormhole) black hole. Then S proceeds to break Bat's 1 rule. Shiny/pretty Supersuit, & Kryptotech cool, but best looking thing by end of movie was "Superman Returns". Some fans will shout: "Let Nolan/Snyder/Goyer try again!", and I will whisper "No." TO:  Nolan/Snyder/Goyer RE:  Superman WASN'T BROKEN.   STOP FIXING.
