Christian Slate has joined the cast of “Melancholia” director Lars Von Trier's new film, “Nymphomaniac”.

Described as a wild and poetic story of a woman’s erotic journey from birth to the age of 50, the film will also star Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgard, Jamie Bell, Connie Nielsen and Shia LaBeouf.

LaBeouf caused a bit of a stir recently when he suggested the sex in the film will all be real. S

We imagine that a PG-13 rating is unlikely on this one.
