Although the film hasn't even officially opened yet, it appears plans are already firmly in place to bring us an "Alex Cross" sequel which will be titled "Double Cross". Reports claim that both author James Patterson and Tyler Perry are close to signing the deal to green light the sequel. Tyler Perry declined the option to direct the upcoming "Alex Cross", no word yet on if he may decide to direct "Double Cross."
