It was hard to imagine that the producers would find a way to make “Taken 2” work. But the highly anticipated sequel pulled in $50 million in its opening weekend, making it a resounding box office success.
So much of a success, in fact, that screenwriter Robert Mark Kamen has reportedly begun work on the third film.
Here is what the scribe had to say to Hollywood.com:
"We didn't start talking about [it] until we saw the numbers. But then we said, 'Oh, okay. I think we should do a third one.' And Fox wants us to do a third one."
"We've taken everyone we can take," he added. "It's going to go in another direction."
What do you think? How will Kamen manage to bring audiences into this world again with no one left in this family to take?
