Just yesterday, Joseph Gordon-Levitt was added to the the short list of Jim Sturgess and Zachary Levi, for those being considered for the lead role in James Gunn's "Guardians of the Galaxy".The race just got more competitive however, as former "Smallville" actor Michael Rosenbaum has reportedly read for the role of Star-Lord as well. Rosenbaum turned to twitter yesterday to say, "Read for my pal @James Gunn GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY for PETER QUILL. What a treat! Thanks Jimmy. @Marvel".

It seems that the potential of a DC to Marvel jump is becoming all the more likely. Gordon-Levitt was seen in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises" and it was inferred at the end that he could become Batman's successor. Rosenbaum played the infamous Lex Luthor on the hit series "Smallville" for 154 episodes. Both actors are great at their craft but are they right for Star-Lord?

Out of the four actors on the current list, who would you like to see take the role of Star-Lord? Let us know in the comments section below!

I think that a World's Finest would be a great lead in to Justice League. Introduce the 2 main characters to each other & at the end they decide it's time to put the team together.

Gily violence been apart of this nation way back since the cold wars. Specially when it come to its movies and even tv shows. Probably before you was born, I agree with Andrew if you don't like the violence then don't have your kids watch it. It is a very simple action to do but people always want to complain. So I say this to all others that have the same issue with violent movies or tv show, get it through your head if you don't like it don't watch it and stop the complaining!
