How far in advance do I need to cancel to avoid being charged another membership fee?

Membership cancelation requests must be received at least five (5) business days prior to your next billing date in order to process and avoid being charged for another membership.

How do I earn points?

Earning AMC Stubs points is simple - just present your active AMC Stubs account (virtual card or AMC Stubs email address or Phone number) during checkout at any AMC Theatre! Buying online or via the AMC mobile app is even easier - once logged in, you will automatically earn points on all eligible purchases! How do I keep track of my points?

All the power is in your hands! Once you have registered your membership online, you can log into your account here or via the AMC mobile app to view your current balance, see recent transactions, redeem rewards and manage your membership. Your local AMC Theatre would be happy to give you an update on your membership after each transaction as well!

Getting Points for Past Transactions

Don't worry, these things happen! We would be happy to add points for purchases you made in the last 30 days, as long as you have a receipt. Just take your receipt to the theatre and guest services will be happy to help you out. You can also send us your request here.

Pending Points

Pending points occur when you have an advanced ticket purchase. Points for any future showtimes will be added to your account after your showtime.

Bonus Points

Want to earn a reward even faster? We send offers to earn bonus points with qualifying purchases. Keep an eye on your mailbox, www.AMCTheatres.com, and our special offers here too!

Point Expiration

Insider Member’s earned points will expire after a period of 12 consecutive calendar months without a qualifying AMC theatres transaction. If you keep earning points, you keep extending the date!

Points will not expire for members retaining Premiere or A-List tier status.

Pricing and Payment

How will I be notified of a price change?

In the case of any upcoming price changes for Premiere or A-List, (or other major changes), we will notify you via email at least 30 days in advance of the change going into effect, provided the change is not due to change in applicable taxes.

When will I be charged?

You will be charged on or around your expiration date, pending bank holidays etc.

What payment options are valid?

A valid credit or debit card is required when enrolling into AMC Stubs Premiere. You can choose which card saved to your account is charged for the annual recurring membership. Want to use a gift card? Please visit your favorite AMC Theatre and purchase or renew with an associate.

Can I pay for my A-List or Premiere membership with AMC Stubs rewards?

You cannot use AMC Stubs rewards towards the AMC Stubs Premiere or A-List membership fees.

How do I change my Credit Card for billing?

To add or delete a payment card, navigate to the "Wallet" tab on your My AMC dashboard. If you have recurring billing on a Premiere or A-List account, you will need to add the new card first and assign it as primary before you can remove the old card. If you receive an error, please confirm the address being entered matches what is on file with your card provider or bank.

Redeeming Points & Rewards

Activating Rewards

AMC Stubs members can activate $5 in rewards for every 5000 points earned. Just head over to your rewards tab on your AMC Stubs Dashboard in the mobile app or via www.amctheatres.com/rewards to check out points and activate rewards so you have them ready to go for your next visit or when you choose to use them prior to expiration.

Reward Expiration

Rewards are valid for 90 days after activation. Now you choose when to use your rewards. Apply them online or tell the crew member at your favorite theatre when you have activated rewards you want to apply. Note that Bonus Bucks and rewards earned will have their own expiration date based on promotional offer terms. These dates will be listed along with the reward on you Rewards page in My AMC.

Using AMC Stubs Rewards

Ready to use your hard earned rewards? Activate them online and then apply them on when adding credit card or other coupons or tell the crew member at your favorite theatre when you have activated rewards you want to apply.
*Insider's can use rewards for concession mobile order and at the concession stand!
*Premiere & A-List’ers can use their rewards on ticket and concession purchases in-theatre, online, and at Dreamscape at AMC locations!
*The following items are currently excluded from using rewards toward purchase: Alcohol, gift cards, On Demand movies, retail merchandise, select concert or other specialty films, and fees including membership, convenience, service and delivery.

Start earning rewards now! Insider members earn 20 points for every $1 spent. Premiere & A-List members earn 5x times faster, 100 points for every $1 spent on tickets, concessions, and other eligible purchases.

Free Refills

Both Insider and Premiere & A-List members get a free refill every time they buy a large popcorn or reusable popcorn bucket! Simply show your virtual card or account number and receipt at the concession stand for your refill.

Popcorn & Drink Upgrades

As an AMC Stubs Premiere & A-List members, make sure that you always order a large size fountain drink or popcorn. Use your virtual card or AMC Stubs email address at the concession stand and your discount will automatically be applied! To receive size upgrades when purchasing popcorn and fountain drinks online on in our app, simply log in and make your purchase.

Discount Tuesdays

AMC Stubs members can save big when purchasing tickets to Tuesday showtimes at the box office, kiosks or online! Savings vary by location and format. Limit of 10 tickets per showdate. How do I renew my membership

Renew your AMC Stubs Premiere membership at any time by clicking the "Renew Now" button on your AMC Stubs dashboard or set up automatic renewals on your AMC Stubs dashboard and never worry about losing your Premiere Benefits. You can also renew by speaking with any AMC Theatre crew member.

Do I get a membership card?

AMC Stubs members do not receive a physical card; however, you can access your virtual card with ease using the AMC mobile app. You can also provide your email address at your favorite theatre and they can look you up!

AMC Stubs Memberships are now fully virtual! You can access your virtual card with ease using the AMC mobile app. If you are at the theatre and don't have your account number or virtual card, a crew member can look you up by phone number or email address!

Virtual Cards

You can access your virtual card with ease using the AMC mobile app under "Wallet." Present the code to cashier at the box office or concession stand to earn points!

I accidentally bought multiple memberships.

You can keep using your membership through the expiration date! Any additional memberships will add 12 months onto your existing membership. Please contact us here if you purchased multiple renewals by mistake.

My point total is incorrect.

I have pending points on my account.

Points for advance movie tickets will remain pending until after your showtime. For On Demand purchases and rentals of available titles, points will remain pending until day after transaction. For pre-orders, points will remain pending until the movie’s availability date. If you have additional questions about the balance of your AMC Stubs account, the guest services team at your local AMC Theatre would be happy to help you out. Otherwise, feel free to reach out with your concern here.

I forgot to use my AMC Stubs account at the theatre. Can I still get points for my purchase?

My points expired.

Points will expire after 2 years with no account activity. If you keep earning points, you keep extending the date! Expired points cannot be restored.

Effective 5.1.23 – An Insider Member’s earned points will expire after a period of 12 consecutive calendar months without a qualifying AMC theatres transaction. Points will not expire for members retaining Premiere or A-List tier status.

My rewards were used without my permission.

Are you missing rewards that you didn't authorize? Don't worry about a thing -- we've got you covered! AMC Stubs members can report a lost or stolen card here. All you have to do is submit a request, and we will deactivate your old card number and issue you a new account number. We will also transfer your existing balance and activity over to the new number so that you won't miss a beat in earning points and rewards!

My rewards were not applied properly.

We're sorry the rewards didn't apply to your purchase. AMC Stubs Premiere & A-List members can use their rewards for both ticket and concession purchases. AMC Stubs Insiders can apply their rewards towards a purchase at the concession stand. Still having troubles applying your rewards? AMC Stubs Premiere & A-List members will have their fees waived every time! If you are an AMC Stubs Insider member, your fees are waived when you purchase four or more tickets at once. To have your fees waived when using amctheatres.com or the AMC mobile app, simply log in and make your purchase - your fees will automatically be waived at checkout. When using a 3rd party site (Fandango, movietickets.com, ATOM tickets) make sure that your AMC Stubs account number is applied to the purchase, and your fees will also be waived automatically.

How do I redeem my birthday offer?

Your AMC Stubs birthday offer will automatically be loaded onto your account during your birthday month (make sure you have a birthday listed on your account!). If not used, the birthday offer will expire at the end of the month. AMC Stubs Insider members will receive a free large popcorn, and AMC Stubs Premiere & A-List members will receive a free large popcorn and free large fountain drink. Simply include your birthday item(s) in your order and the price will automatically be deducted when ordering online or by using your AMC Stubs account at your local participating AMC Theatre.
