Walmart is charging $3.98 for a bag of ready-to-eat (popped) popcorn, and $4.98 for a 6-count box of AMC Theatres microwave popcorn.

AMC Grocery Popcorn was designed to replicate the flavor profile of our in-theatre popcorn recipe, but in a packaged, shelf stable format.

We are currently not offering AMC Stubs points for purchase.

AMC Grocery Popcorn is a brand new product line of AMC Theatres Perfectly Popcorn for the grocery store.  Our recipes were all inspired by AMC’s famous movie theatre popcorn, which we’ve been selling for over 100 years.  We know that movie watching behavior continues to evolve—so we wanted to give our guests an authentic movie theatre popcorn experience they can enjoy in the comfort of their home.

Our product line offers 2 different formats, ready-to-eat (popped) popcorn and microwave popcorn.  Each format has 3 different flavor varieties: Classic Butter, Extra Butter, and for those seeking a lower sodium solution, Lightly Salted.  We think that “Butter Lovers” will especially enjoy our Extra Butter Microwave popcorn, which comes with buttery topping packets inside, so you can drizzle on extra butter deliciousness just like in our movie theatres.

AMC Grocery Popcorn will be sold exclusively at Walmart stores through our launch. Our ready-to-eat popcorn will be featured on Walmart endcap displays in select stores nationwide beginning Saturday, March 11, in time for the Academy Awards on March 12.  In late April, all products, including microwave popcorn, will be sold at Walmart in the popcorn aisle in over 2,600 stores nationwide, as well as on walmart.com.

Our microwave product is kosher certified. Our ready-to-eat product has not yet been certified.

All varieties of our popcorn are gluten-free.

We are currently only available at 2,600 Walmart locations, but you can check out our grocery popcorn web page to view our store locator and sign-up for emails to be notified when new locations are added.

If stored properly, our ready-to-eat popcorn can be enjoyed up to 1 week after opening. Exposure to air is what makes popcorn taste stale and chewy. Reducing exposure to air and sealing tightly can help prolong the quality of the popcorn after opening.

Our products are best enjoyed prior to the expiration date. Product quality can break down past the expiration date.

Refunds can be requested through the retailer where you purchased AMC Perfectly Popcorn.
