When can I access the auditorium for my Private Theatre Rental?
You will be able to enter the auditorium 15 minutes prior to your movie’s start time.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my Private Theatre Rentals?
You may cancel your Private Theatre Rentals in advance of the event by selecting “Request a Refund” from the receipt email. It is not possible to reschedule your Private Theatre Rental, but after you request a refund you can book a new Private Theatre Rental.
Will trailers be played before the movie?
Yes. Please allow approximately 20 extra minutes for pre-show and trailers before the show starts.
Will I earn AMC Stubs points on my Private Theatre Rentals purchase?
Yes! AMC Stubs members will earn points for the purchase of their Private Theatre Rental.
Is it possible to display a welcome slide or video for my guests?
Custom content is not possible at this time.
Can I bring in outside Food & Drinks?
No, outside food and drinks are not permitted. AMC goes far beyond classic concessions like popcorn and fountain drinks to give you an absolutely appetizing experience. We're always innovating and exploring new ways to bring the best food and drinks to our theatres.
Can I request a table?
At this time, AMC is unable to offer a table to be set up during your Private Theatre Rental due to our AMC Safe & Clean policies and procedures.
Can I use my AMC Stubs Rewards on Private Theatre Rental bookings?
AMC Stubs Premiere and A-List members can use AMC Stubs Rewards towards their bookings. AMC Stubs Insider members,

I’ve already booked my Private Theatre Rental, can I add more tickets to the group size I booked or change the movie?
Unfortunately, your rental cannot be modified. To change the movie you selected, Request a Refund via the link in your confirmation email and re-book with the new movie title. If you would like to bring more guests to your private theatre rental than you booked for, the theatre may be able to accommodate additional guests for the cost of a standard adult ticket for each additional guest. Please reach out to the theatre team to see if additional guests can be accommodated.
I want to book a Private Theatre Rental, but I’m not seeing anything listed for the date I want.
Private Theatre Rentals are typically programmed about 3-4 weeks in advance. If you are looking for a date further out, you will need to check back closer to the date. If you are within 3 weeks and you do not see any listing, check with your local theatre to see if they are currently participating.
