If your gift card has an active balance, and you're having trouble using it, contact guest services at 877-262-4450. You can check your gift card balance here. If you have an AMC gift card that begins with 6006, please email photos of the front and back to giftcards@amctheatres.com for a replacement card. AMC gift cards that start with 6006 need to be replaced, at no cost, to be redeemable.

The AMC Gift Card is a prepaid gift card similar to a gift certificate that can be used to buy tickets or concessions at any AMC theatre. What other gift can provide action, drama, comedy and Junior Mints?
We accept cash or the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Precious metals are still not accepted. Online orders can be paid with Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Sorry, but all credit cards used must have a U.S. billing address.
Cards purchased at any AMC theatre may be loaded with any whole dollar amount between $5 and $100. For values above $100, contact our National Sales department at 800-AMC-4TIX (800-262-4849).

Traditional AMC Gift Cards let you choose a design, write a message on the card carrier and load a dollar amount to the card. Digital Gift Cards are more immediately available and can be emailed immediately if you're the instant gratification type. All types of AMC Gift Cards are reloadable.
All AMC Classic, AMC and AMC Dine-In theatres in the United States will honor AMC Gift Cards. So, step right up for an entertainment treat. AMC Gift Cards purchased in the U.S. and gift certificates purchased in Canada are non-transferable. They can only be used in the country they were originally purchased.
Gift cards with $0 balance will be removed from your wallet on the AMC Theatres website and mobile app to make more room for gift cards with balances. If you have a physical AMC Theatres gift card that reaches $0 balance, please properly dispose of or recycle the gift card. Click here to purchase additional gift cards.
No. At this time, once an AMC gift card has been fully redeemed it is not possible to reload additional balance to the gift card. Click here to purchase additional gift cards.

Passes

AMC ReAdmit Passes, AMC GuestFirst Passes, and AMC Guest Passes are accepted anytime through the printed expiration date, for any movie excluding special events and for enhanced movie experiences. Please visit your local theatre for specific details. Restrictions may apply for Black, Yellow, Green, and Red Tickets.
This applies to all passes, coupons, discount tickets, and promotional offers that state 'Not valid for special engagements', including red, green, black, yellow, silver and gold passes. However, some discount tickets, like the Silver Experience can be upgraded at the theatre box office for an additional surcharge.
Some types of passes cannot be used for newly released films. The restriction generally applies to the first two-weeks of a film's theatrical release, however there may be specific films in which this time period is extended based on studio contracts. Always look for the "No Passes" or "Special Engagement" description next to the film title. Passes are not accepted for any opening night fan event, double feature, marathon event or Dreamscape at AMC experience.
All AMC, Loews, Cineplex Odeon, Magic Johnson and Star theatres in the United States will be honoring passes, coupons and discount ticket products including: AMC Red tickets, AMC Green tickets, AMC Black tickets, AMC Yellow tickets, Show Snacks, Loews Galaxy, Passport and VIP Texas Gold. So, don't be shy with them at the box office.
We’re sorry, Gold and Silver Experience tickets are no longer accepted in theatres as of July 1, 2018. If you have an AMC Gold or Silver ticket(s), please email clear pictures of the front and back of the ticket(s) to goldsilver@amctheatres.com. Please include a list of the ticket numbers as well as your preference to receive physical or digital (e-ticket) replacements. If physical tickets are requested, provide the full mailing address. Ticketing

A Child ticket is 2 to 12 and a Senior ticket is 60+. Children under 2 who do not require a seat are free.
We charge a small convenience fee per ticket purchased on our website and mobile app. This fee helps to ensure you can purchase tickets conveniently online before they sell out, to select your ideal seats where applicable, to order Food & Beverage in advance, and to skip lines at the theatre. The fee is displayed on the Order Summary during the online purchase process. Convenience fees cannot be refunded, but you can avoid paying convenience fees by joining AMC Stubs: AMC Stubs A-List and Premiere members never pay ticketing fees on our site, our app or our partner sites, and fees are waived for Insiders who buy 4+ tickets.
For tickets or food and beverage items purchased on our website or mobile app, you can receive a refund before the printed showtime. You can request this refund online, through the Tickets section on your AMC Stubs account or your confirmation email. Convenience fees cannot be refunded.
For tickets or food and beverage items purchased at one of our theatres, you will need to visit the location prior to the printed showtime.

Tickets purchased through Fandango.com can be used at AMC theatres. You have the ability to waive the service fees on Fandango with AMC Stubs. Unfortunately, Special Engagements carry a pass restriction. Most new releases are considered a Special Engagement, but check movie times and tickets for your local theatre for more details.

No. We've received notification that several of our guests have attempted to retrieve tickets that were purchased from websites halfcosttix.com and halfticket.com. These websites are not legitimate AMC partners and unfortunately AMC cannot honor confirmation receipts or other purchase evidence from these sites to retrieve tickets for guests. Guests falling victim to these sites will likely have print-from-home confirmation receipts with a series of numbers that are unrecognizable by AMC's point-of-sale. Please always use AMCtheatres.com as your source for the best AMC offers available.
