Marc Guggenheim is one of Hollywood's hot writers and is in negotiations to pen a big screen version of “Perry Mason” starring Robert Downey Jr.
Guggenheim was a former attorney who also wrote for shows like “The Practice” and “Law and Order.” He'll be writing a script based off an original idea by Downey. The plan is to bring the character back to Los Angeles in the 1930's.
Downey will produce with his wife and producing partner Susan Downey.
