The sequel to Jim Henson’s beloved classic children’s tale “The Dark Crystal” has been shelved once again. The project has been in various stages over the last six years. “Daybreakers” co-directors Peter and Michael Spierig have been working with the Jim Henson company to create the film utilizing a blend of the puppetry, CGI and 3D technology.
Unfortunately, Omnilab Media has pulled their financing and the directing team has moved onto a new project entitled “Jungle” so it does not appear that we will be seeing “The Power of the Dark Crystal” in theaters anytime soon.
