Jack Bender No Longer Directing Jack Ryan Movie

By AMC March 28, 2012

Paramount and Skydance Pictures have been trying their best to get the latest Jack Ryan movie off the ground, but it won't be taking off anytime relatively soon thanks to filmmaker Jack Bender. After being attached to direct the fifth Jack Ryan movie, director Jack Bender ended up stepping away from the entire production.

It's not his fault, the only reason why he's stepping away from the project is because he has too many television commitments to where it'd be impossible for him to direct around Paramount's timeframe. Regardless of this news, Paramount and Skydance are still moving forward with the picture. Chris Pine is signed on to play the famous character off the script written by David Koepp.

Now the search is on to find a replacement for Jack Bender. Who would you like to see direct a Jack Ryan movie?
