We're just a couple of weeks away from the release of Jonathan Liebesman's new action-fantasy movie "Wrath of the Titans." Today we get a better look at what our god of war Ares (played by Édgar Ramírez) looks like in the upcoming sequel.

"Wrath of the Titans," the sequel to the 2010 movie "Clash of the Titans," is set a decade later after Perseus (Sam Worthington) defeated the monstrous Kraken. The demigod son of Zeus is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brother Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within teh cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Ramírez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. It's up to Perseus to set things right for the gods before their world, and his world, are completely destroyed.

"Wrath of the Titans" will be released in AMC Theatres on March 30th.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
