Several Directors In The Running To Take On 'Captain America 2'

By AMC March 30, 2012

Last year audiences across the nation flocked to theaters to watch Marvel's all-American superhero Captain America on the big screen in "Captain America: The First Avenger." Now that we're just a little over a month away from the release of Marvel Studios' monster crossover movie "The Avengers," they're already planning ahead to find the right director for the sequel to "Captain America."

The list has been narrowed down, and those who are currently in the running to helm the production include George Nolfi ("The Adjustment Bureau"), F. Gary Gray ("Law Abiding Citizen") and are even dipping their hand into the television sector with Anthony and Joseph Russo ("Community").

The meetings are underway to figure out exactly who will be directing Chris Evans in the lead role a second time around. Expect the final decision to be announced at some point next month.

Who would you like to see direct "Captain America 2"?
