After weeks of worry for us action fans about the apparent PG-13 rating for “The Expendables 2,” it looks as if our fears about a toned-down sequel have been squashed.

Chuck Norris recently stated that because of his involvement in the action-fest with stars Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Scott Adkins, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Arnold Schwarzenegger, The Expendables 2 would be not be rated 'R'.

But Stallone's biggest fan site just posted this today:

Just received word from Sly today… and I quote

“After taking in all the odd rumors and hearsay, EXPENDABLES II is an R.”

That's great news for action fans who want their 80's throwback action to be brutal and violent! Are you guys happy The Expendables 2 will get its 'R' rating? Here's more from AMC senior editor John Campea.

Look for The Expendables 2 in AMC Theatres on August 17th.

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
