A Look At The Cast Of 'Think Like A Man'

By AMC April 19, 2012

“Think Like A Man opens at your local AMC Theatre this Friday and it's a star studded movie with a cast that's as funny as talented as an ensemble cast could be. And while some are faces you've seen before, there are also some new actors you may not recognize.

We thought it would be fun to have a brief bio/breakdown of the cast of Think Like A Man, a cast that includes comedy veterans like Kevin Hart and fresh new faces like Gary Owen. Here's the official synopsis:

Four interconnected and diverse men have their love lives shaken up after the ladies they are pursuing buy Steve Harvey's book and start taking his advice to heart. When the band of brothers realize they have been betrayed by one of their own, they conspire using the book's insider information to turn the tables and teach the women a lesson of their own.

Let's take a look at some of the cast of Think Like A Man.

Michael Ealy

Michael Ealy has been acting in off-Broadway plays since the late 90's, and his big breakout role came in “Barbershop,” which led to roles in films like “2 Fast 2 Furious,” “Never Die Alone” and even appeared in a Mariah Carey video.

Ealy continued his career with a Golden Globe nominated performance for “Sleeper Cell: American Terror” and has appeared in numerous films and television shows since he started acting. Michael Ealy is a great dramatic actor with some good comedy chops.

Regina Hall

Regina is best known for her hilarious performances in the “Scary Movie” films. She got her career started in the soap opera “Loving” and has continued starring in numerous film and television roles. Hall was nominated for a NAACP Image award for her performance in the television series “Ally McBeal.”

Jerry Ferrara

Jerry Ferrara is best known for his role as 'Turtle' in the wildly popular television show “Entourage.” When he moved to Los Angeles, he landed his first role on “King of Queens” and has been acting non-stop ever since. Ferrara isn't just an actor – he's also an entrepreneur – and is the co-owner of Fat Sal's Deli in Westwood, California.

Meagan Good

Meagan Good has started acting at the young age of four and was born and raised in Los Angeles. Good started doing extra work on TV before finally moving into her breakout role in the Nickelodeon show “Cousin Skeeter.” Good worked her way into film starring in movies like “Stomp the Yard,” “One Missed Call” and “The Love Guru.”

Romany Malco

Romany Malco is best known for his role as Jay in Judd Apatow's “The 40 Year Old Virgin” where he shared a scene with another of his Think Like A man co-stars, Kevin Hart. He's also known as Conrad Shepard in the enormously popular Showtime series “Weeds,” where he has been nominated twice for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series.

Gabrielle Union

Not only is she one of the most beautiful actresses working in Hollywood, she's also one of the most talented. She got her start as a model before moving into acting where she had minor roles in shows like “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine” and “7th Heaven.”

Union moved on to film and was cast in the popular comedy “Bring It On” with Kirsten Dunst and starred in “Bad Boys II” and “The Box.” She has been working in film and television ever since. Gabrielle recently starred in the Tyler Perry movie “Good Deeds.”

Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart is arguably one of the funniest stand up comics working today. His outrageous and hilarious views on friendship, family and life seem to find his way onto the big screen no matter what role he's playing. Even though he's been in a lot of television shows and films, it's his stand-up comedy, which is so funny, that it keeps him in demand and he's getting bigger and bigger roles in all of his films. He's definitely going to be guy that will have you laughing each time he's on screen.

Gary Owen

Gary Owen is an actor and stand-up comedian who got his start on stage making people laugh for years. He was named “Funniest Serviceman In America.” he's headlined on comedy special on BET and in 2011, Ebony magazine named him “Black America's Favorite White Comic.” You can see Owen on the television show “House of Payne” and of course, at a comedy club near you.
