The “Fast & Furious” franchise is a popular one for Universal Pictures and now it appears as if a new player wants to pull itself up to the starting line and challenge the champion of the street.
Electronic Arts, makers of the long-running “Need For Speed” series of video games, have approached “Real Steel” writer John Gatlins to put together a pitch package for a movie based off the video games. Warner Bros., Sony and Paramount are interested in the possibility of having their own high octane franchise. We'll keep you updated on the progress of it.
