The ‘Men in Black” franchise became known for several key elements: the innovative aliens from artist Rick Baker, the iconic black suits from costume designer Mary E. Vogt and of course, the chemistry between Tommy Lee Jones’s Agent K and Will Smith’s Agent J.

What is remarkable is that Josh Brolin has been able to step into the third instillation in the series as the young Agent K and seamlessly mirror the previously established character and relationship while still bringing something fresh and new to the world.

We had the opportunity to sit down with the actor at the Los Angeles press event for the film recently where we talked about the methods he used to achieve his performance and his quintessentially surreal “Men in Black 3” moment.

Take a look at the video interview and synopsis below:

In Men in Black 3, Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones) are back...in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him -- secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young Agent K (Josh Brolin) to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

Barry Sonnenfeld directs a cast that includes Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones and Josh Brolin.

“Men in Black 3” opens in AMC 3D and 2D theatres on May 25th.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.

Magic and "The Social Network" shouldn't be in the same sentence. It was an awful movie for what has become "The Hateful Network". It's the beginning of the end for FB.
