New BRAVE Clip Offers Parenting Tips

Pixar’s new animated adventure “Brave” opens in AMC theatres in just a few short weeks. In the interim we have a new clip from the film that highlights the tone and visual palate.

The film follows the tale of a young girl, Princess Merida, who is, as many young girls are at odds with her mother’s expectations of what she should choose to do with her life. In the scene King Ferguss (voiced by Billy Connelly) speaks to Queen Elinor (voiced byEmma Thompson) about how they can approach their daughter to get her to see their point of view.

Determined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom. Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse.

Mark Andrews directs a voice cast that includes Kelly Macdonald, Julie Walters, Kevin McKidd, Craig Ferguson and Robbie Coltrane.

“Brave” opens in AMC Theatres on June 22nd.
