This past weekend here at the AMC Burbank 16 was filled with Marvel madness. The AMC production crew covered the midnight screening and it was packed. I went to see the movie again yesterday and the place was packed, and these numbers show how crazy fans got for their favorite superheroes.
Disney reported that Sunday's gross was close to $56.8 million putting its three-day total to about $207.1 million, shattering the previous box-office holder, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.” So far the film has earned $654 million worldwide.
Following in the wake of Hulk's smash was "Think Like A Man" earning $8 million followed by "The Hunger Games," "The Lucky One" and "Pirates Band of Misfits" each gaining just over $5 million in their overall box office grosses.
