THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE Goes To Georgia

Fans of both the book series and the film are anxiously awaiting the follow-up to this year’s YA phenomena “The Hunger Games.”

Well citizens of Atlanta, Georgia can get excited because it looks as if the city will serve as the location for the sequel “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” in which an entirely new arena will be constructed. The original film was shot in North Carolina.

We will keep you updated as details on the project emerge.

Francis Lawrence directs a cast that includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Lenny Kravitz, Elizabeth Banks, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Toby Jones and Woody Harrelson.

“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” opens in AMC Theatres on November 22nd, 2012.

    Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
