Tonight AMC Theatres conducted a livestresm Q&A with “The Bourne Legacy” star Jeremy Renner & director Tony Gilroy.

AMC stubs members local to Los Angeles (where the event took place) were invited to participate in person. Fans were treated to an exclusive first look at several minutes of footage from the highly anticipated thriller, the live Q & A as well as the 2nd official trailer for the film.

“Tony Gilroy, Jeremy Renner and the entire Universal team have taken the Bourne story in an exciting new direction, and we can’t wait to offer AMC Stubs members in the Los Angeles area this unique opportunity,” said Sun Dee Larson, vice president of Film Marketing at AMC Theatres.

Additionally, AMC movie news managing editor John Campea was present to interview Renner and Gilroy just prior to the event (stay tuned for that video interview).

In the interim take a look at the 2nd Official trailer for “The Bourne Legacy” below.

Synopsis:

The narrative architect behind the "Bourne" film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: "The Bourne Legacy." The writer/director expands the "Bourne" universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.

For "The Bourne Legacy," Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.

"The Bourne Legacy" debuts in AMC theaters on August 10th, purchase your tickets NOW!

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
