When will we see Batman next?

By AMC August 29, 2012

The last few weeks have been filled with rumors and speculation about Warner Bros. comic book ensemble “Justice League”.

News has focused on the directorial contenders for the film. But fans are now speculating on when they will see the next on-screen iteration of the Caped Crusader.

Though the franchise is complete, there are those that still hold out hope that Nolan and Bale will reteam at some point on an additional Batman endeavor. To say that is unlikely is an understatement of magnificent proportions.

Though, if recent history is anything to go by, we will see a franchise reboot in development sooner rather than later.

Coming Soon has written a piece that speculates that audiences can expect Batman to make an appearance in “Justice League” before we see a film that focuses on the character.

If the movement on the DC ensemble film is any indication - a completed script from Will Beall (“Gangster Squad”) and (reported) conversations with potential helmers – that does seem to be the trajectory that WB is on.

Of course, there is no definitive way to predict the studio’s next move.
