"Skyfall" opens in AMC Theatres in two weeks and is already receiving an overwhelmingly positive critical response.
Producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson are wasting no time in building on the "Skyfall" momentum and have gone into active development on "Bond 24".
The, as yet untitled, film is aiming to begin production at Pinewood Studios next fall with a tentative fall 2014 release date.
John Logan ("Gladiator"), who did a pass on Neal Purvis and Robert Wade's screenplay for "Skyfall", has been tapped to pen the script. Logan is said to have pitched the producers on the story (which will carry through over the next two Bond films) during production on "Skyfall".
Daniel Craig will reprise his role as 007 himself (James Bond) in the film marking his fourth portrayal of the iconic character.
We will keep you updated as details emerge.
