Ever since news first surfaced that Disney acquired Lucas Films and that there would be a “Star Wars: Episode VII”, the updates have been pouring in. A week ago, it was announced that Michael Arndt would pen “Episode VII” and that writers Lawrence Kasdan and Simon Kinberg would write scripts for “Star Wars: Episode VIII and IX”. It wasn’t clear at the time if they would be writing the two scripts together or separately. Now it’s being reported that the duo may not be writing the scripts for “Episode VIII and IX” after all, but were instead brought on to write separate projects that could potentially be spin-off films about characters from the “Star Wars” Franchise.

The details of the new series of "Star Wars" films have remained pretty locked up to date. We do know that Disney is planning on releasing a new film every 2-3 years however.

With still a director needed to helm "Episode VII" and potentially two writers as well as directors for "Episode VIII and IX", we can anticipate a lot of "Star Wars" news in the next few months.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" is planned for a 2015 release. We'll be sure to keep you posted as new information becomes available.

I've got a Baby Ruth in my coat pocket somewhere... just waiting to eat it. Maybe I'll put in a blender on puree.

Admire bryan singer story telling, not easy if you introducing a large cast.. As someone who do not know anything about x-men lore or identify himself as superhero geek.. His x-men 2000 film grab my interest on the series.. Still remember that powerful opening scene, the nazi concentration camp.. really set the theme of the series.. Found some of the other superhero movies.. Too comical for my taste still,.. Will see this movie on the first day of opening..

    1) Daredevil was ten years ago, and its problems were the director and script writers' fault. 2) Maybe but look at James Bond and hell even Batman throughout the years, people will get over it. 3) I want to tell you to check out the Town and Hollywoodland to see him act well, but you'd seem too hell bent to ever change your mind.
