Fans were hopeful that a “Wayne’s World 3” could finally be coming in 2008 and then again last year, when Wayne (Mike Myers) and Garth (Dana Carvey) made appearances on SNL. Mike Myers dismissed the idea the first time but this round, it looks like it could actually be happening.

In January of this year, Dana Carvey said that he would be up for returning as the loveable Garth and now it's been reported that Myers has finished his first draft of “Wayne’s World 3”. The story will focus on, "Wayne and Garth coping with the new era of music, transitioning from access cable to streaming internet (ala Youtube) and Wayne balancing his marriage to Cassandra."

No production timeline or anything else concrete has been released at the moment as Myers is still finishing up his "Austin Powers" franchise, but we’ll take the first script as a positive step in the right direction.

Be sure to check back for updates on “Wayne’s World 3”. Party time, excellent.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
