New HITCHCOCK Clip Introduces Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh

By AMC November 15, 2012

A new clip has just been released for Fox Searchlight's "Hitchcock. The film is being helmed by Sacha Gervasi and is based on a non-fiction book by Stephen Rebello. The story showcases how Alfred Hitchcock, at the height of his directorial career, decided to make what was believed then as a pointless horror flick called "Psycho". The new film is being billed as “a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock, and his wife and partner, Alma Reville”.

The scene below shows a dinner between Anthony Hopkins, who plays the one and only Alfred Hitchcock, Scarlett Johansson portraying Janet Leigh and the director's wife, Alma Reville, played by Helen Mirren. The infamous shower scene that is ingrained in movie history is the topic of the discussion in the clip, which also serves as the cornerstone of the film.

"Hitchcock" hits AMC Theatres on November 23rd, 2012.
