A new full-length trailer has been released for the upcoming Warner Bros. film from Bryan Singer "Jack the Giant Slayer". The trailer will be shown before Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" next month, which seems like the perfect marriage since Ian McKellen did voiceover for "Jack" as well as the quest and fantasy backdrop of both films.

"Jack the Giant Slayer" is a modern fairytale that tells the story of a ancient battle that is reignited when a young farmer named Jack accidentally opens a gateway that links our world to that of relentless giants. The giants try to reclaim the land they once owned and Jack gets thrown into a battle to stop their plans in order to save his kingdom and everyone he loves.

The film stars Nicholas Hoult as Jack, Ewan McGregor, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy and Ian McShane.

"Jack the Giant Slayer" climbs to AMC Theatres on March 1st 2013.

Really like the look of it! The trailer has a menacing and dark tone to it, as LEE pointed out. Hopefully this won't be another Die Hard 5 case, awesome trailer but terrible film. Godzilla looks so much like it's 60 year old predecessor. I did like the 1999 Godzilla, just because the actors were awesome and it was cool to see another take on a legendary creature, but this film looks so much darker, almost forbidden. Can't wait till the middle of May!!
