Academy-Award winner Sean Penn has dabbled with a plethora of different roles throughout the course of his career. In the upcoming Warner Bros. film, "Gangster Squad", set to release in AMC Theatres on January 11th 2013, he plays legendary mob leader Mickey Cohen. Based off recent news of his next potential film endeavor, Penn may be choosing to stay in the world of crime and killers for a while longer.
Currently in negotiations, Penn is looking to star in the new action-thriller, "Prone Gunman". Based on Jean-Patrick Manchette's novel, "Prone Gunman" is a political French noir tale that explores the life of a hired killer named Martin Terrier. Terrier is betrayed by the organization he works for and therefore must embark on a violent game of cat-and-mouse in a chase around Europe.
