FANTASTIC FOUR Reboot Gets Release Date

By AMC December 10, 2012

It's been almost 10 years since the "Fantastic Four" film which starred Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis. Most fans felt that the film did not do the characters or universe justice and have been waiting for news of a reboot in an effort to redeem the franchise.

It appears as though fans may be getting that reboot sooner than later as a March 6, 2015 release date has been set. Director Josh Trank, who flexed his directing chops on the popular "Chronicle" last year, is leading the way for the reboot. We'll also have "Kick-Ass" and "Wanted" scribe Mark Millar overseeing as the creative consultant. Millar has become the consultant on all Fox superhero movies moving forward, including "X-Men: Days of Future Past", which seems like a very smart move on Fox's part given his track record. Millar has also been implying that further down the line, we may just see an"X-Men/Fantastic Four" cross-over in the works.

Do you think director Josh Trank will do a good job with the "Fantastic Four" reboot? Let us know in the comments section below!
